Adult Tennis players Invited to compete in Town of Mount Pleasant Tennis Championship
MOUNT PLEASANT, SC - Tennis players of all experience levels are invited to compete in the Town of Mount Pleasant Tennis Championship, a USTA-sanctioned tournament coming up in August at the Mount Pleasant Tennis Complex.
With games held Friday, August 14 through Sunday, August 16, the tournament will feature singles, doubles and mixed doubles matches for adults based on NTRP ratings. The deadline to enter the tournament is 5 p.m. on Tuesday, August 11.
Hosting over 100 players of all levels in 2009, this USTA-sanctioned tournament allows players to compete based on their NTRP rating, ranging from 2.5 – 5.0 and over. All players will receive a tournament t-shirt and lunch will be provided. Tournament awards will be presented to winners as well as finalists.
Games will take place throughout the weekend, with matches on Friday afternoon and throughout the day Saturday and Sunday. Consolations rounds will be played in all divisions.
Registration for the Town of Mount Pleasant Tennis Championship is $40 per person for singles players or $20 per person for doubles players. Participants are required to register by August 11 in order to be eligible to participate.
