Mount Pleasant Fire Stations

The Mount Pleasant Fire Department offers residents unparalleled services covering a wide array of fire and rescue issues. The department has received international accreditation from the Commission on Fire Accreditation and ISO Fire Protection Class 2. Currently, 116 paid personnel and 15 volunteers man the town's five fire stations and fire watch on board the USS Yorktown. The department has five fire engines, one rescue engine, one reserve engine, four ladder trucks, a Hazardous Materials Unit, a brush truck, a service trailer and two rescue boats. Currently the department runs four Paramedic engines with ALS capabilities.
